Review and a Recipe: RAW Fit #GardenofLife RAW Fit Frosty

Disclosure: Special thanks to Garden of Life for sponsoring this post.

While I don't run marathons, every day of my life is like a marathon. From the moment I wake up to the moment the sun goes down, I'm on the go go go.

Mornings are the most challenging part of my day. I have to get myself ready for work, pack three lunches, and get my two kids off to school. And then, when the Chicago weather permits, I hop on my bike and ride off to work - 4 miles each day! I need to start my day with a breakfast that will give my body the energy it needs for such busy mornings!

Here's a new-to-me product that I've been incorporating into my daily smoothies: RAW Fit.

RAW Fit is a USDA Certified Organic, plant-based vegan high-protein powder. If you're looking to increase your protein intake, this is a great product to add to your pantry. Since it has a mild, slightly sweet flavor, it doesn't overpower when used in your favorite recipes. Here are some of the benefits of RAW Fit:
  • Supports healthy blood sugar levels.
  • Helps regulate your cortisol levels and manage stress related cravings.
  • Builds lean muscle mass thanks to RAW certified organic plant protein - a complete protein with 13 organic sprouts.
  • Naturally filling and satisfies hunger because it's PACKED with fiber.
  • Live probiotics promote digestion

I use RAW Fit to make an awesome morning smoothie. I call it my RAW Fit Frosty because it tastes amazingly like the frosty chocolate shake at a famous fast food restaurant. However, unlike that shake, this one will give you the energy you need to conquer your day!

Ingredients

2 scoops Garden of Life Raw Fit Protein Powder (Chocolate)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 banana
2 cups ice
1 tsp vanilla extract
