Learning to Read with Rosetta Stone Kids Reading #MC #RSKids #sponsored

Disclosure: I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Rosetta Stone. I received a product and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Everybody knows that Rosetta Stone is the go-to when it comes to learning a new language. But what about about learning to read? With my 5-year-old daughter on the brink of reading, I was thrilled to review the new Rosetta Stone Kids Reading Program.

Rosetta Stone® Kids' award-winning, research-proven technology promises children a head start with early reading skills. For my daughter - who can already recognize all her letters and is starting to read basic words - this new program has been amazing. She doesn't even realize she's practicing her reading skills...she just thinks she's playing fun new games with her new online pals in Lingoland.

As a teacher, I know all to well that more than 47% of U.S. children are below grade-level reading. If you're going to give your kids tablet, make sure that they're playing games that are educational. This program is a great fit for kids ages 3-7: it's engaging, entertaining, but most of all, it's effective. Developed with education experts, Rosetta Stone® Kids Reading introduces and reinforces core reading skills in engaging, self-paced interactive learning experiences personalized for each child. My daughter, who attends a Pre-K program, is improving and strengthening her pre-reading skills thanks to this fun program. She loves playing the dozens of games and reading along with the many stories.

Each challenge introduces kids to different parts of the world where they'll learn new skills and explore new cultures. Best of all, kids set their own pace, choosing the games and activities they enjoy most. My daughter feels like she is "in control" of this program, and she has not once asked me for help. Sometimes I'll sit beside her and watch while she "plays", but she is able to navigate this program all by herself and this makes her extra proud!

Another great aspect of this program is the fact that it awards achievements at every step. As children advance their learning, the world around them adapts to reward their progress. This gives kids a chance to feel proud of their progress and keeps them engaged. My daughter is so proud to be reading some simple words and phrases! It truly complements her learning at school.

Rosetta Stone Kids Reading also makes for a great gift...the gift of reading! Forget gifting yet another toy - this program is truly the gift that will keep on giving throughout the year.

Take advantage of the free demo, available at Rosetta Stone® Kids: if you have a pre-reader on your hands, this awesome program is a must-have!
