The Polar Vortex has left me with little desire to walk to my neighborhood yoga studio (and it's right around the corner, so that's how terrible it is to walk around outdoors in Chicago these days). Thankfully, I had the opportunity to check out MyYogaOnline, an online yoga studio.
There are so many videos to choose from, all varying in length and yoga style. You're bound to find a video that fits your mood or fitness needs. I love trying out all different types of yoga from the comfort of my own home. There are also guided meditations, as well as workouts and workshops on everything from pilates to tai chi. All teachers are certified.
There are also so many other elements to the website - from community forums to health and wellness information. It's a great place to connect with other yoga practitioners around the world.
MyYogaOnline's wide selection of classes are broadcast straight over the internet. You can watch full screen with DVD quality or connect your laptop or PC to your TV (using an S-cable).
Unlimited access costs $9.95 per month or $89.95 per year and there are no ads or commercials in the videos. If you take even just nine classes per month, you're paying just 99 a class.
