Celebrate Halloween with Hershey's

Chiara already adored Halloween at age 2.
Our family adores Halloween.

We love dressing up the house in all things spooky, we love dressing up in creative costumes. We cover the entire neighborhood when it comes time to trick or treat. I always find time to volunteer in my kids' classrooms on Halloween. Every year, we host a Halloween party that includes a trip to a haunted house. What would an American childhood be without Halloween fun?

Chiara, age 4, spent her first three Halloweens pretty spooked out by the decor. Our neighbor across the street always decorated his home with a giant skeleton face that Chiara would peep at from our front window, half scared, half intrigued. But now Chiara has fully embraced all things Halloween: she really loves all things spooky and "scary", and even asked me if she could dress up as a zombie or vampire for Halloween. (That's what happens when you have a 12-year-old brother with friends dressed up in scary costumes on Halloween - you are evidently inspired). I will spare everyone the sight of a little four-year-old girl dressed up as a zombie; I convinced her to be a "scary" witch instead. Daniel is still pondering a few costume ideas. Both kids, however, have agreed that we need to make our home as Spoooooooky as possible this Halloween, and we'll be decking the halls this weekend.

Hershey's sent us some samples this week of their 2013 Halloween candy selection, and though I intended to wait until Halloween to indulge, this mom has been sneaking into the darn treat bags every night! I am pretty much in love with the orange colored Halloween White Chocolate Kit Kats. I am also dreaming up some Hershey's inspired treat ideas for our Halloween party.

I created a Pinterest Board with some Hershey's Inspired Goodies, most pinned from the Hershey's Pinterest Board, and here are my top 3 picks:

Peanutty Rocky Road Candies - Seriously, do these not look delicious? Also super easy to make.

Peanutty Rocky Road Recipe: These mouth-watering Peanutty Rocky Road candies will have your Halloween party guests smiling all night long!

Kisses Acorn Treats - I like these cute treats, made with Hershey's Kisses, because I know that I can easily make them with the kids. These would also be a fun treat for Thanksgiving.

KISSES Acorn Treats Recipe: No seasonal table would be complete without these KISSES Acorn treats, made with HERSHEY'S KISSES Milk Chocolates and HERSHEY'S KISSES Pumpkin Spice Flavored Candies!

Witches Hat Cookies - Yet another cute treat that will be easy and fun to prepare with the kids.
Witch's Hat Cookies Recipe: Looking for a new Halloween dessert to add to the party table? Try these Witch's Hat Cookies, made with HERSHEY'S KISSES!

I also appreciated this Caramel Apples How-To-Video. If you've ever wanted to make the best caramel apples ever, check this video tutorial out:
